What is the Community Archaeology Forum?
CAF was created in December 2006 to provide an online meeting place for anyone involved with community archaeology. If you take part in or run a community project, are an archaeological professional involved in community work, or simply have an interest in this new and thriving sector of archaeology, CAF is the place for you.Deletions:

You can place material here to gain a greater profile for your community project, to share your ideas with others and to start discussions about the interpretation of the material you have found. You may want to look at other projects to get ideas about how to tackle your own archaeological site, building or survey, or simply because you are interested in what others have found. Perhaps you'd like to create a page offering some advice to others or disseminating some research on Community Archaeology?

CAF is not meant to be a formal and final repository for your archaeological data. To get advice about the right places to deposit your data see the Advice/Guidance category, or consult our list of useful links.
