The price of the training is £80, this includes:

• One years membership to the group (usually £12)
• Insurance
• Certification
• Training under the supervision of qualified archaeologists
  field walking
  geophys
  surveying
  excavating
  washing finds
  drawing finds
  drawing sections
  talks

The nearest train station is Bexley, Kent (35 minutes from Central London). Collection from the station to the site is available. Local accommendation can be recommended.

“Autumn” site - near Bexley, Kent

Experienced and novice excavators from outside the Group are welcome to join us at our on-going site named Autumn. Minimum unaccompanied age is 16 (with parents consent).

All excavators will have the opportunity to experience the main tasks associated with an excavation under the supervision and guidance of a member of the Group. Tasks carried out during this training excavation will include:
