Digitisation of the Bradford Buildings Register
The Bradford Buildings Register is an excellent resource for the archaeology of standing buildings in Bradford, containing plans and records of planning decisions from 1850 onwards. Digitisation of the register from its current microfiche format will increase accessibility to the general public, allow searches to be performed, and open up new avenues of research into Bradford's historic buildings. The project is currently in a development phase, with efforts concentrating on the 1850-1879 records, and in particular on the Horton area of Bradford.
