The Project Local People – Local Past seeks to define the Romano-British landscape of an area of West Northamptonshire. This Community Landscape and Archaeology Survey Project (CLASP) was highly commended in the Marsh Archaeology Award 2007∞ competition.

We have Local Heritage Initiative funding for a project called 'Local People - Local Past', which is engaged in surveying seven roman villa sites by means of fieldwalking, geophysical survey and trial trenches. Part of our community archaeology remit is to share survey results with anyone who wishes to make their own interpretation: we have made a start on this through the 'Local People - Local Past' web site: http://www.localpeople-localpast.co.uk∞
