You can reach the sites listed below via the main CLASP site, but we have listed them here separately in case you want to go straight to them.
We have Local Heritage Initiative funding for a project called 'Local People - Local Past', which is engaged in surveying seven roman villa sites by means of fieldwalking, geophysical survey and trial trenches. Part of our community archaeology remit is to share survey results with anyone who wishes to make their own interpretation: we have made a start on this through the 'Local People - Local Past' web site: http://www.localpeople-localpast.co.uk∞
One of our participating organisations is the Whitehall Farm Roman Villa and Landscape Project which is engaged in a major 10 year excavation, featured in the Time Team Big Roman Dig in 2005: http://www.whitehallvilla.co.uk∞
We hope you enjoy exploring our work.
