A Maritime and Marine Historic Environment Research Framework for England

The University of Southampton have been commissioned by English Heritage to co-ordinate the development of a research framework for the maritime, marine and coastal archaeology of England.

Project Conference: Saturday May 1st 2010
Following the consultation, the final Project Conference, will be on Saturday May 1st at
the University of Southampton. It will be a one day event (with no conference fee), and
everyone involved in the maritime, marine and coastal archaeology of England is
welcome.

The Resource Assessment findings will be presented along with the results of the
consultation and then, crucially, the Research Agenda will be up for discussion. The
conference offers the opportunity to help shape England’s marine historic environment
Research Agenda.
