Friends of Sudbrooke Roman Villa

Friends of Sudbrooke (Roman Villa) are a group of people from all walks of life who have been involved in the Roman Villa dig at Sudbrooke Lincolnshire or who want to get some hands on experience of archaeology or may just want to offer support to the dig. We are a relaxed friendly group whose members have a keen interest in all things archaeological.

We meet regularly in Lincoln to process the finds from the excavations, for talks, workshops, trips and educational activities, and of course each year we participate in fieldwork.



One of the key activities of the group is the provision of archaeological talks and workshops for schools, special interest groups and the public.
