The West Yorkshire Archaeology Advisory Service as part of its objective to support voluntary organisations in the region and to improve access to the historic environment, has been producing a series of online guides aimed at helping Community Archaeology Groups with their work. WYAAS have just released an addition to this series: A Guide to making a Photographic Record of Old Buildings. The guide offers useful hints on how to prepare for your recording session, what type of cameras to use and what aspects of a building you should consider taking images of.
