We are a community-based project engaged in a ten-year excavation of a roman villa in Norrthamptonshire UK: 2006 was year 7.We dig for four weeks in June/July and spend the Winter processing and analysing finds.
In 2005 we were one of the nine sites selected to feature in the Time Team's Big Roman Dig and in 2004 our web site was joint runner-up for the Channel 4 Television Award, ICT (Interactive Computer Technology) category at the British Archaeological Awards.

You can copy this template page∞ and give it a new name, and then edit the copy.
If you are going to add a large amount of information to this site, it might be worth splitting the text between different pages, such as an introduction page, results, discussion etc. The easiest way to do this is to add a series of links just below your project title, as shown on this page. This is done by typing the following:
@@[[ProjectBackground background]] | [[ProjectMethodology methodology]] | [[ProjectResults results]] | [[ProjectDiscussion discussion]]@@.
The @ signs at the beginning and end centre the text. Each item enclosed in [[...]] is a link to another section, the first part being the new page name, and anything after the first space is text shown to link to that page (because these pages don't yet exist they are underlined; following the link gives you the option of creating the new page). Simply replace 'Project' with the name of your own project in each case, e.g. [[CopmanthorpeBackground background]].
