Additions:
The Woodland Heritage Manual is the result of nearly twenty years intensive work on wooded landscapes, especially those of ancient woodlands. With help from the Woodland Trust, English Heritage and the Forestry Commission, and with generous support by the Heritage Lottery, the work has been tested and 'ground-truthed' across the regions of England and turned into the guide for survey and assessment for woodland heritage and archaeology.
