The government listens to what the Council for British Archaeology says. If members of the public want to shape government policy on archaeology, they should join the Council, You don’t have to be a professional to join. You just have to care about the past. Lots of children are joining its Young Archaeologists’ Club. The Council provides a unique bridge between the public, professional archaeologists and government bodies.
