Hurlers' Stone Circle (Image: www.iknow-cornwall.co.uk ) Join us in Cornwall this October, where we will be taking a closer look at Cornwall’s unique archaeological heritage, from the prehistoric landscapes of Bodmin Moor to the mining industry of the 18th–20th centuries.

The Weekend will consist of a series of guided site visits, talks and presentations from Cornwall’s archaeological community, revealing the very latest research and work that is currently developing our understanding of Cornwall’s heritage.

All are welcome to join us for what promises to be a fascinating insight into Cornwall’s past. Places are limited so please book early using the form (downloadable below) or via our secure online shop. CBA members are entitled to a special discount.

The 2010 Weekend Event is organised by the Council for British Archaeology, CBA South West and Cornwall Archaeological Society, in association with Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro and Penwith College (part of University of Plymouth Colleges), the National Trust, King Edward Mine and the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site. The event is kindly supported by Skinners Ltd and The Friends of Glasney College.
