YAC in the North West
The North West currently has three branches of the Young Archaeologists' Club at
Lancaster, Manchester and for the Mersey and Dee area.
YAC News North West
YAC Lancaster 'adopted' the Lancaster
Roman bath house in August 2007. They have been monitoring its condition, recording its state
and cleaning it on a regular basis. In part due to its
efforts, the club were pleased to hear the recent announcement that
Lancaster City Council are to spend £17,000 on cleaning the
site, dealing with the Japanese Knotweed that is encroaching on the
site, consolidating the remains and installing new interpretation. If you would like more
information or would like to help the club in any way, please contact: yac.lancaster@hotmail.co.uk.
