The CBA provides a series of factsheets containing information about the planning system in England, with the goal of helping local groups and individuals interested in conservation of their local archaeological and historic heritage understand and become more involved in planning in their area. These factsheets are not intended as the ‘last word’ on the issues they cover, but rather as brief introductions. References have been included in the factsheets to other policy and guidance documents to allow readers to follow up topics in more depth should they wish to.

Because the current time is one of significant reform of the Planning System in England (and Wales), these factsheets have been temporarily removed pending a series of updates and amendments.
