We are offering members of the Council for British Archaeology a discount on their conference fees to reflect the reduced amount of admin required to process bookings for members who's details are already entered into our membership database.
The discount is being offered in two ways:
The discount has not been applied to accommodation and meals as these are fixed costs for the CBA and have no admin savings which can be passed on in the form of a discount.
You will need your CBA membership number to claim your discount - this can be found on any correspondance from the CBA to you as a member.
To claim your discount:
Those people buying membership through the online shop at the same time as booking are entitled to claim the members rate and should put "000000" in the membership number box in order to alert us!
*For those without a credit card to book online a paper booking form is available please email us (educationconference@britarch.ac.uk) to request one, or visit the download area to download a pdf of the form.
"The government listens to what the Council for British Archaeology says. If members of the public want to shape government policy on archaeology, they should join the Council. You don’t have to be a professional to join. You just have to care about the past. Lots of children are joining its Young Archaeologists' Club. The Council provides a unique bridge between the public, professional archaeologists and government bodies."
Hugh Bayley MP, September 2007
