The Scottish Civic Trust has conducted an analysis of party manifestos in the run-up to the European Parliamentary Elections on 4 June 2009, comparing party commitments on heritage issues.

The analysis covers topics such as planning, housing, heritage and landscape, and includes statements made by the Conservative Party, the Labour Party, Scottish National Party, Green Party, Scottish Liberal Democratic Party, UK Independence Party, British National Party, Socialist Labour Party, Scottish Socialist Party, No2EU Party, Jury Team Party and the Christian Party/Christian Peoples Alliance Party.
