New CBA Factsheets

Factsheet 2 The CBA has reviewed and re-launched our factsheet series. These are intended as short, accessible guides to archaeology, and cover a range of subjects including What is Archaeology?, Get Involved in Archaeology, Studying Archaeology, Teaching Archaeology, Working in Archaeology and Archaeology & Buildings.

These new factsheets are available free-of-charge on our website, or those without Internet access can contact us at the York office. The factsheets can be freely copied and distributed as long as the CBA is acknowledged.

They are ideal for local societies to distribute to new members, for schools and other centres to hand out to students considering taking up archaeology, and as handouts at events and exhibitions. We are currently reviewing the factsheets on Fieldwork and Responsible Metal-detecting, and these will be available to use soon. If there are any other subjects you would like the CBA to cover, please contact us.
