Latest on the New Series of Time Team

Series 17 of Time Team was rumoured to start airing last month… but it never appeared. We are expecting this ever-popular series to start this Sunday 18 April, so check your TV guide for confirmation.

Time Team Logo The TV schedulers at Channel 4 have just confirmed the new start date. Answers have perviously ranged from mid-April, to mid-May when the BBC finishes screening the current run of Antiques Roadshow. We do know that it is planned for the c7pm Sunday prime-time slot.

Some more good news: series 18 is already being filmed in closely-guarded locations around the UK and C4 have decided to keep the programme for another 3 years, taking it to 20 series!
