Training Day for Voluntary and Community Groups in Wales

Funding through Cadw is enabling the CBA to take our project supporting capacity building in the archaeological voluntary sector into Wales. A comprehensive training day in North Wales has been organised by the CBA’s Community Archaeology Training Placements based at Cadw and Gwynedd Archaeological Trust for people to get to grips with their local heritage in north-west Wales.

Entitled “Archives and Archaeology”, sessions and workshops will focus on maps, artefact recording, photography and the Historic Environment Record, plus the Portable Antiquities Scheme. The training day takes place at Anglesey Archives on 10th March and booking is essential. Full details can be found here
