Regular Giving

Donations/Regular Giving

Young Archaeologist of the Year winners The importance of planning in any business cannot be understated, especially during times of difficulty. Charities are no different. In order to be able to undertake planning for future activities and growth, the CBA needs to have a regular source of income that can be predicted with some degree of confidence.

It is incredibly difficult for all charities to build regular, unrestricted (not specifically tied to a piece of work or project) income and the CBA is no exception. For us to do more and achieve more it is vital that we grow dependable sources of unrestricted income. Regular giving is one way of doing this.

Regular Giving is totally separate to membership! You can give as much as you want and at whatever intervals you like. Regular Giving is particularly important to support projects like the Young Archaeologists’ Club, which needs a regular income to sustain its current level and to help us develop it in future years to reach more children with a love of archaeology.

The most cost effective way to set up your regular gift to the CBA is by setting up a Standing Order, this can be for an annual, monthly or weekly amount, the choice is yours.

Contact Peter Olver, Finance Director for more information and details for setting up your donations, and please remember to Gift Aid your donation.

There are now more ways to give than ever and some schemes available on the web will match donations. For example, check the CBA page on: The Big Give
