Each year, the CBA offers small grants of up to £750 to support new or existing research projects carried out by local societies, groups and communities, through the CBA Challenge Funding scheme.

Rural Direct: Scotland

Rural Direct Rural Direct is a new service which assists Scotland’s rural communities to access funding opportunities. Projects eligible for funding through the Scotland Rural Development Programme (SRDP) can include anything from refurbishing a village hall through to long term plans for community development.

We currently have around 10,000 members and subscribers from all over the world, and this is increasing every day. Adult, youth and affiliate memberships and subscriptions account for around 23% of the CBA’s income. Without you the breadth and scope of our work would be significantly reduced.

The combined number of our members, subscribers and supporters together show decision makers that archaeology is important.
