YAC at the Festival of History!

YAC goes Egyptian for the 2009 Festival of History!

YAC had a brilliant time at the Festival of History at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire on 25th and 26th July 2009. We got really messy mummifying oranges, learnt how to write in hieroglyphics and met lots of our wonderful YAC UK members.

YAYA 2008 Factsheets

Downloadable factsheets for YAYA 2008 now available!

YAC designed some special factsheets and worksheets to support the 2008 Young Archaeologist of the Year Award.

The theme was fabulous finds. Although the competition has ended now you can still have a go by downloading our fantastic factsheets. You can find out how to draw different objects, reconstruct whole pots from a piece of rim, and play some great observation games!
