Thank you to all the Branches who returned their Annual Return paperwork by the deadline of 14th May. We are currently processing the results and a report will be available on the website soon, so keep checking back.
If your Branch hasn't yet returned the paperwork you still need to send it in. The auditors are visiting the CBA soon and we really do need to receive all of your paperwork by then. What do you need to do?
Remember: we will not be issuing £50 grants to Branches who return their annual report and financial return after the 14th May unless the Branch contacted us beforehand to advise us of the delay.
Send your completed returns to Emily Hellewell, YAC Annual Returns, St Mary's House, 66 Bootham, York. YO30 7BZ. Or email them to yac@yac-uk.org
You can read the report summarising the 2008-2009 Annual Returns by clicking here. If you made a suggestion for the future of YAC, the report contains some responses from Wendi Terry so please have a look!
The Helper Survey has now closed, thank you to everyone who responded. We are currently processing the results and a summary will be available here soon.
You can now recommend a person, place or resource for the YAC Useful Contacts List by filling in the Useful Contact form and emailing it to us at yac@yac-uk.org.
The Useful Contacts List is a document which lists contact details for suppliers of artefacts, places to visit and specialists who have been recommended to YAC.
Go to the Useful Contacts List section to find the downloadable document.
The files on this page are available to download in both PDF and Microsoft Word format. Please note that the PDF files are smaller (and therefore quicker for your computer to download).
To access PDF files, you will need Adobe Reader or similar on your computer. This is a free piece of software that can be downloaded by clicking on the logo in the white box below.
To access Microsoft Word files, you will need either the full version of Microsoft Word (part of Microsoft Office) or MS Word Viewer on your computer. You can download a free copy of MS Word Viewer by clicking on the link in the white box below.

Sections of the Handbook were updated in March 2009 to reflect changes in our policy for dealing with allergies. The new version of the handbook can be downloaded below.
Please note: printed versions of the pages containing changes have been sent to each Branch directly.
Each Branch should have two copies of the Handbook, and everyone involved with your Branch should read it and be aware
of the good practice contained therein.
The current YAC Leaders' Handbook was printed and distributed around the Branch network in June 2007.
You can download the full text of the Handbook, in Parts, by right-clicking on the links below and selecting 'Save Link As...' or 'Save Target As...':
| Part One: Who We Are | Download |
| Part Two: YAC Meetings | Download |
| Part Three: Running a Branch | Download |
