National Archaeology Week 2008 is taking place between Saturday 12th and Sunday 20th July 2008 and there will be loads of fantastic archaeological events taking place across England and Wales!!
National Archaeology Week is your unique chance to discover and explore the archaeological heritage of the United Kingdom.
During this NINE DAY event, you can take part in
National Archaeology Week 2007 was a great success with over 430 events taking place, ranging from flint knapping in Yorkshire to a walk through Prehistory in Nottinghamshire, wreck diving in Portsmouth and a Roman invasion in London. And NAW 2008 will be even better, with events to interest and excite everyone!
Details of all events taking place during National Archaeology Week 2008 will be placed on the NAW website closer to the event. To find out what is happening near where you live, click here and keep checking back for more details!
