YAC Branches
YAC Branches are like archaeological youth clubs. Most of them meet about once a month.
The Club currently has over 70 Branches around the UK.
Club Branches provide an excellent opportunity for you to find out more about your local archaeology, get involved in archaeological projects and participate in archaeological activities. These can include anything from excavation work to cooking a medieval banquet!!
Most of our Branch Leaders and Assistants are volunteers, generously giving up their
free time to help young people learn more about their local heritage.

Parents and guardians might like to know that all YAC Branch Leaders and Assistants have gone through disclosure (police) checks and that all activities are fully risk assessed.
If you know of anyone who would like further information about setting up a YAC
Branch, then please ask them to contact Rebecca Boyde for Scotland or Wendi Terry for the rest of Britain. (Contact addresses can be found by clicking here)
